Having greater knowledge of other cultures gives us insight and understanding, and what better way to learn about them than through languages? Language doesn’t just tell the story of how we communicate, but can also explain history and what was important to those people. For example, did  you know that Hawaiians have over 200 different words for “rain” or that Spanish contains about 4,000 Arabic words?
